Funny conversation between me and my sister Renee. She's 10 and I met her at the mall one day.

Me: What's in the bag?
Renee: Brownies and panties... wait, that didn't sound right.
Me:

M and M Faerie

2 min read

Ever wonder how they get those tiny little white M's on M&M's? Contrary to popular belief, they're not from stencils and machineries and all that jazz. But rather, from the M&M fairy.

No, I'm not kidding.

The M&M fairy is terribly small, probably around Tinkerbell's size and wears a colorful dress, representing the various colors M&M's come in (Advertising is very important these days.), with tiny shoes with even tinier bells attached on the front. Adorable, isn't she?

Day and night, the M&M fairy works. Sprinkling her magic fairy dust upon all the M&M's in the world, those that haven't been consumed anyway, to provide us with yummy chocolate goodness. This fine white powder embeds itself onto the M&M's candy coat shell. No matter what anybody says, believe me when I say that this is what makes the M&M melt in our mouths and not in our hands. Nothing else, okay? They should thank the M&M fairy for the catchphrase really.

Anyway, the next time you feel like eating an M&M. Gaze long and hard on that tiny little white M and thank the M&M fairy for all her hard work. Our gratitude is what keeps her going, so spread the word. Who knows, you may be given a special M&M treat. :D

*Proof that I'm still alive, sane though is another matter entirely.
